Some have called it the most important pass breakup in the history of Husky football. With time expired Elijah Jackson batted away the game winning pass from Quinn Ewers and propelled Washington into the national championship game against Michigan.
Washington dispatched the Longhorns 37-31 in a game in which the Huskies dominated most of the contest and almost put it out of reach in the third quarter. The Huskies settled for some field goals late and was hurt by an injury rule when Dillon Johnson went down with a minute left.
Seemingly like every other game Washington has played this season they held onto win another one-score game securing their spot in the final.
