The Washington Huskies will play in their first Big 10 conference game on Saturday afternoon. The Dawgs welcome the Wildcats of Northwestern to Montlake in a pivotal matchup for both programs.

After a surprise 8-win season a year ago the Wildcats are going to be fighting for bowl eligibility. Northwestern has already made a major change at quarterback when they benched Mike Wright after 2 starts and 0 touchdowns.

Washington on the other hand is coming off a shocking loss to the Cougars in the Apple Cup.

These teams have only met 3 times, all in the eighties where Washington won all three matchups in blowout fashion. The final game was in 1984 which means nothing.
