The Washington Huskies only took a quarter to knock the rust off against Weber State late Saturday night. The Dawgs were stopped on their first two drives after Jonah Coleman’s long touchdown run was called back on a questionable holding call.
After that the offense found their rhythm.
The offensive line is nowhere near settled as players subbed in and out and moved positions throughout the evening. While the line works to find itself the running games looks like it will be able to pick up the slack. Jonah Coleman surpassed his high expectations as he wowed the home crowed with devastating hits and yards after contact.
Will Rogers has the impossible task of following Michael Penix and seemed to find his rhythm after the first few series as he made connections with both Giles Jackson and Denzel Boston. On a surprising note Jeremiah Hunter only had two targets with zero catches, a trend that needs to be addressed as soon as next week.
UW Leah, Coach V, and Trevor Mueller break down everything that happened including the stellar defensive effort.
