4th and Inches Podcast: Good Vibes on Montlake

The month of December has been one of the best months in recent memory around the University of Washington campus. The Huskies are plastered all over bowl games as promotions for the playoff hang over every commercial and half time show, they disposed of Oregon for the third time in two years, Michael Penix stole the show at the Heisman ceremony, and the All American teams were littered with Huskies.

In keeping with the good vibes Kalen DeBoer was named the coach of the year by Sporting News, and the Pac-12 conference, Troy Fautanu was named the top O-linemen in the conference, and Michal Penix was named the Maxwell award winner that goes to the most outstanding player in college football.

The Husky women’s hoops team is 11-0 with a road win over WSU who was ranked #21 before the loss to the Dawgs.

The Husky men’s hoops team took care of #7 Gonzaga snapping the Bulldogs 17 game winning streak against the conference. The win against the Zags was the first since 2005.

Washington is also about to be featured on the big screen as Boy in the Boat comes out in theaters on Christmas day.

Coach V, UW Leah, and Trevor Mueller talk about all the great things around Washington.
