Probable Washington players taken in Day 2:
Ja’Lynn Polk: Polk played his way up to the Huskies wide receiver two over the 2023/24 season and played himself well into the second round. Polk is considered by many to be a top-10 to 15 player left on the board as we enter day two. Polk’s success in Seattle has been noticed by scouts and media members alike, many of whom consider Polk to be a day-one contributor at the next level. Polk should be gone early in the second round to a wide receiver hungry team.
Possible Destinations: WSH, BUF, NE, LAC
Roger Rosengarten: Rosengarten excelled at his pro day, vaulting him up draft boards, and is not looking like a solid second-round pick. Roswngarten has all the tools to fit into the NFL immediately. A smart and aggressive player on the outside of the line Rosengarten should be someone that goes into camp and competes immediately wherever he goes. With Rosengarten’s proven ability expect him to be high on the board for teams still looking to fill a spot at tackle as the day gets going.
Possible Destinations: WSH, TEN, ATL, SF
Bralen Trice: Trice was one of the biggest pieces on the defensive end of the Huskies championship game run. While the lack of sacks has likely dropped his draft projection, Trice was ever productive for the Huskies. One of college footballs leading disruptors Trice appears to be a pretty set day two pick. His ability to get into the back field is something that NFL teams will not overlook, especially for the pick they could add him at.
Possible Destinations: DET, CHI, WSH, MIN
Jalen McMillan: The third member of this Husky wide receiver class McMillans season was hampered due to recurring injury but when he was on the field McMillan was an X-factor. You could tell the difference in the Huskies offense when he was on the field. Even as the second or third option McMillan was consistently open down field and provides a great choice for an NFL team looking for a WR2 or 3 on day two.
Possible Destinations: NYJ, JAX, CLE, WSH
