Pac-12 Roundup: Week 12 picks

Pac-12 Roundup: Week 12 picks

Here are my week 12 Pac-12 picks…..

My record: Straight up: 47-25, Against Spread: 35-29

Saturday

Stanford (4-5) at Washington State (4-5) 1:30 p.m. (Pac-12) Line: Washington State -10.5

Both teams are desperate for a win this week to get closer to bowl eligibility. Stanford is expected to start David Mills at quarterback. This is a game where if Washington State gets in rhythm they can win by three scores. Washington State plays their best game of the year and handles Stanford.

Washington State 35 Stanford 20

Arizona State (5-4) at Oregon State (4-5) 4:30 p.m. (FS1) Line: Arizona State -3

Can Arizona State bounce back after three consecutive losses? Or will Oregon State’s offense show up after being shutout by UW a week ago? The Beavers likely have to win this game to keep bowl hopes alive. But I think the Sun Devils will rebound after a few dud weeks.

Arizona State 35 Oregon State 31

UCLA (4-5) at #7 Utah (8-1) 5 p.m. (FOX) Line: Utah -21

UCLA has been playing much better as they have a 4-2 record in the conference. But only one of those wins have come against a winning team. Expect Utah to roll at home as they try to make a statement to the CFB Playoff committee.

Utah 35 UCLA 13

Arizona (4-5) at #6 Oregon (8-1) 7:30 p.m. (ESPN) Line: Oregon -27

Both teams were idle last week. Oregon now sits just two rankings spots out of the CFB Playoff. Meanwhile, Arizona has lost four games in-a-row – all four by double-digits. Oregon wins and adds some style points at home.

Oregon 52 Arizona 20

USC (6-4) at California (5-4) 8 p.m. (FS1) Line: USC -6.5

California is expected to get starting quarterback Chase Garbers back this week against the Trojans. Garbers was cleared earlier in the week but has not been officially announced as the starter. Both teams are coming of bounce back wins last week. California seems re-energized after the bye week but can they produce enough offense against a USC team that can score a lot of points? This is one of the tougher games of the week to predict. But the Trojans find a way in Berkeley and get the job done.

USC 31 California 24
