Realdawg.com spoke with the father of Indio, CA (Shadow Hills) defensive end, Jake Shipley today and confirmed that his son received an offer while on his unofficial trip to Washington.
That brings the defensive line board to three now — in terms of offers made.
Shipley, who we profiled on Mondayis a bruising lineman whose father, Ron, is also his head coach and had played college ball, himself, also playing in the NFL.
The two will be heading to Oregon tonight, and have been in Seattle since yesterday.
“He loved it”, Ron said of his son’s trip to Seattle. We hope to get more today but we were having reception issues as the two were just leaving the UW campus.
