2021 Texas Tailback Hoping to Get to Seattle

The Huskies aren’t going to shy away from going into Texas for running backs again; this year they reeled in Jay’Veon Sunday, and in this next cycle they’ve put an offer on the table for Del Valle, TX running back, Tavierre Dunlap.

Dunlap, who’s 6-0, 200, came on the radar during the fall months and earned the offer just two weeks ago.

“I have a good relationship with KB”, Dunlap told Realdawg.com this week, “I’ve never been to Seattle but I’ve heard it’s beautiful over there.”

Dunlap currently holds 9 offers, and said he’s not ready to focus on any narrowed list right now, “I’m taking all of my offers into consideration”, he clarified.

If you watch his video highlights from his sophomore year, Dunlap is deceptively quick; he makes good cuts, demonstrates strong visual instincts, and once he gets some open real estate he’ll take it to the house.

“I’d say my biggest strengths are making cuts and decision-making”, Dunlap said.

With his size and the fact that he’s still just a junior, he could definitely become a physical, grinding, power back — but he also is working on the mechanics of increasing his speed as well.

At this point, Dunlap has all the makings of a “complete back” at the next level.

This past season for Del Ville Dunlap finished with 1531 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns, “I wanted 2000 but I have one more season so I should be good”, he said.

Dunlap said he is hoping to get up to Seattle for an unofficial trip — and right now is keeping in continual contact with Keith Bhonapha.
